ABOUT OUR CONDUCTOR

Brian Conti has been the music director of the Chatham Community Band for the past 21 years. Employed by the School District of the Chatham since 1992, he currently teaches Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble at Chatham High School. Mr. Conti also teaches instrumental music lessons at Lafayette Avenue School. Mr. Conti has been selected to “Who’s Who in America” for his teaching efforts and his pit orchestra was nominated as a “Rising Star” finalist. He has also had the honor of conducting several regional bands. He is a graduate of the William Paterson University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Mr. Conti also completed his masters in Educational Leadership at William Paterson University. He is a member of MENC, NJEA, NBA, NAFME, and CBA, as well as an active member of the North Jersey Area Band.
